A plain answer, so you can check for yourself before you trust it.
Your records are saved on your own phone, and a safe copy is kept so they can be given back to you if your phone is lost. We do not sell them or share them with anyone, and the people who run CountMy look at records only to fix problems. CountMy never touches your money.
Every time you record a sale, an expense, or a debt, it is saved on your phone first - the same as writing it in a notebook.
A safety copy is also kept so your records are never lost if your phone is lost, broken, or something is deleted by mistake. That copy sits under a secret code for your phone (or your business name, if you typed one), so it can only be asked for back with that code or name.
You, on your own phone, and anyone who gets the CountMy link from the WhatsApp message you sent yourself (do not forward it). The safety copy is not in any list or search. The people who run CountMy look at records only to fix problems, and never share them.
We never ask for your Mobile Money PIN, your bank details, or any password - not by phone, not by message, not ever. If anyone contacts you claiming to be CountMy and asks for these, it is not us.
CountMy costs nothing to use, with no signup. Recording your sales, expenses and who owes you is always free and never limited - your book is yours, all of it, always. Asking CountMy a question is free 5 times a day; if it helps your business, you can choose to support it with 99 cedis once a year to make that unlimited - entirely optional.
No. CountMy never touches money. It does not connect to Mobile Money, a bank, or a card. Nothing you record moves any money anywhere - it is a notebook, not a wallet.
No. There is no account, no password, and no Mobile Money needed. Open countmy.app and tap Sold, Spent or Owes me. Typing works with no internet at all; talking (in Chrome or Safari) needs a little data.
Inside Facebook, Instagram and other apps' own browsers CountMy does not use the microphone; open it in Chrome or Safari to talk. When you speak into CountMy, the recording is sent once to understand what you said, then thrown away - it is not kept, listened to by a person, or used for anything else. The words it heard can stay in our error logs for a few days, only to fix mistakes.
