Only MTN MoMo is shown. We did not find the same price confirmed in several places for Telecel Cash or AT Money, so we show no number for them. Fees can change: check your own network’s current price on your phone or at the agent before you cash out.
The fee is not the only limit. MTN lists a daily limit by wallet level (since 1 March 2024): Minimum KYC GH₵ 3,000, Medium KYC GH₵ 15,000, Enhanced KYC GH₵ 25,000. MTN and the Bank of Ghana pages we read do not say whether cash-out counts towards it, so check your own limit with your network (MTN: dial *170#, choose 6, then 8). What are the MoMo charges for GH₵ 2,000, 3,000 or 7,000?
GH₵ 20 each on an MTN cash-out: from GH₵ 2,000 up the fee is a flat GH₵ 20, last checked 3 October 2026. Under GH₵ 2,000 it is 1%, so GH₵ 1,000 costs GH₵ 10.
Is the cash-out fee the same for GH₵ 5,000 and GH₵ 20,000?
Yes. From GH₵ 2,000 up the MTN cash-out fee is a flat GH₵ 20, so the price of GH₵ 5,000 and GH₵ 20,000 is the same.
