The fee is not the only limit. MTN lists a daily limit by wallet level (since 1 March 2024): Minimum KYC GH₵ 3,000, Medium KYC GH₵ 15,000, Enhanced KYC GH₵ 25,000. MTN and the Bank of Ghana pages we read do not say whether cash-out counts towards it, so check your own limit with your network (MTN: dial *170#, choose 6, then 8). Where these numbers come from

MTN Ghana help centre, cash-out fees above GH₵ 50 (MTN's own page). Read 3 Oct 2026 through MTN's public help-centre feed (article last updated 1 Mar 2024). It gives 1% from GH₵ 50 to GH₵ 2,000 and GH₵ 20 flat from GH₵ 2,000. It does not state the GH₵ 0.50 fee under GH₵ 50: that one comes from the pages below only.
3News, 29 February 2024: the March 2024 change. Read 3 Oct 2026. Gives GH₵ 0.50 up to GH₵ 50 (the GH₵ 0.50 figure is from this and the pages below, not from MTN), 1% from GH₵ 50 to GH₵ 2,000, GH₵ 20 flat from GH₵ 2,000.
