Money in today is 150 + 85 = GH₵ 235 (the GH₵ 20 on credit is not money yet). Costs were GH₵ 90 (transport 30, stock 60), so GH₵ 145 is what is left. At night the box should hold the morning cash + 150 - the cash costs paid.
How to use it
Write each sale as it happens. Tick the column: cash, MoMo or credit.
Here: a free A4 sheet you print or save as PDF from your phone. It has cash, MoMo and credit columns, which the generic Excel templates do not.
How do I fill in a daily sales sheet?
One line per sale, tick the column it was paid in, add each column at night, subtract the costs, and compare the cash in the box and your MoMo balance with the totals. The example above is one small shop's day.
Why do my cash and MoMo not match the sheet at night?
Usually a sale on credit written as cash, a MoMo cash-out counted as a sale, or a cost paid but not written. The guide on daily sales records walks through each.
